Cuddle and Play Monkey Blanket Crochet KIT
- Unit Price
Our basic kit contains an e-book, yarn, embroidery thread, and toy stuffing.
This Kit is being sold in collaboration with an independent designer - Aneta Wawro from Crochet Arcade. All proceeds from the pattern sales go to the designer of the pattern. If you already bought this pattern directly from the designer you can purchase just the yarn pack here.
DISCLAIMER: The quantity above is based on what the pattern designer used with their specific tension and the size of the end product stated below. Each person crochets with a different tension, some crochet loosely and some tightly. If you are crocheting tightly it's likely that you will end up with a smaller item and use less yarn. Not to worry though, we have some free patterns on our blog and we will be adding more, so you can use up your extra yarn. If you crochet very loosely you might end up with a bigger size item and run out of yarn, therefore you might want to consider adding to the cart an extra ball of each colour just in case (especially if you are from outside the UK).
(you can buy all of them from our Haberdashery & Accessories section separately)

When it comes to crochet baby toys, you won’t find many as cute, cuddly and cheeky as a crochet monkey! It’s what makes Cuddle and Play Monkey Blanket crochet pattern amazing.
Baby blankets are a must for any new born, providing that extra layer of warmth for when they’re asleep in their cot, out for a walk in a pushchair or on the move in a car seat. They also provide babies with a feeling of security, quickly becoming their preferred item to touch and feel. Safe to say, a crochet blanket that turns into a toy when folded and even works as a playmat becomes even more loveable still, as a 3-in-1 item any baby will cherish!
When you consider the uniqueness of this crochet toy itself, it’s no wonder this crochet baby blanket crochet pattern proves a popular choice among crocheters. The monkey’s facial features, spikey hair, detailed paws and long tail all help it to look the absolute business when folded and hung over the cot rail. Babies just love exploring every inch of this crochet monkey, not to mention the soft feel of the Dreamy Wool yarn wrapped around their body for warmth. No monkeying around here, just a beautiful item you can create for your own new born or to gift to a friend or family member who is expecting or has a child already.
You’re forgiven for thinking this much detail must make for a more difficult crochet creation. It’s not the case, this 3 in 1 crochet blanket, playmat and toy is simple to complete as all of my designs, thanks to the extremely detailed instructions - including ninety photos and fourteen video tutorials specific just for this pattern! I also use a marking method so it’s nice and clear where any parts attach to the toy, helping you to achieve the best end result.
