Using your chosen colour for the centre of the flower, make a magic ring or make 2 ch and make all stitches of the first round in the 2^nd ch from the hook.

Round 1. 1 ch, make 12 htr (US hdc) in the centre of the magic ring. (12 sts)

Fasten off if you are making the petals in a different colour or continue for one colour flower.

Using the colour for the petals, make a slip knot on your hook and slip stitch to any of the stitches in round 1.

Round 2. Petal *3 chs, sl st to 2nd ch from hook, slip stitch to the bottom of that same stitch*, that’s the first petal done. Slip st to the next stitch and repeat the pattern from * to * to create another petal. Repeat this 11 more times so you have 12 petals in total (1 in each stitch of round 1).
