We’re currently unable to ship to Ireland or any EU country due to the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), effective December 2024.
These rules require small businesses to complete extra paperwork and appoint an EU representative with ongoing costs. As a tiny company, we’re not ready for this step yet—but we hope to offer EU shipping in the future.

Here’s what US customers should know about possible charges:
Yarn duties: up to 7.5%
Reciprocal tariff: yarn made in Turkey, potentially adds 15%
Handling fees: DHL charges £17 for Express, so we removed Express shipping. We now offer Standard Shipping (7–30 days) via Royal Mail, with only a £0.50 clearance fee.
Maximum possible charges:
15% of order value + £0.50, or
22.5% (7.5% + 15%) of order value + £0.50
This is much lower than expected and similar to what Canadian customers have paid, keeping our yarn affordable.
Interesting fact: We recently sent a small US order after the new fees took effect. No duty invoice was issued, and the parcel was delivered immediately, suggesting small orders may sometimes be waived.
We haven’t implemented upfront duty charges on our site yet—it’s costly for a small family business. For now, we’ll email each US customer about potential duties before shipping to avoid surprises.

Our yarn doesn't contain animal fibres so there is no risk of skin rashes, cough or runny nose caused by allergy.
Blankets made with our yarn are soft as a feather so won't cause irritation on baby's sensitive skin.
Don't need to worry about harmful chemicals getting into babies' body because our yarn is toxin free and we have EN71-3 and OEKO-TEX certificates to prove it!
Do you want your makes to last for many years so they can be passed to next generations? Our yarn will withstand heavy use and loads of washes.
Overheating is not pleasant and can be dangerous for small babies! Blankets made with our yarn let the heat from the body escape so person under it can stay cool.
Don't like to feel sweaty? No one does! Our yarn is absorbing the moisture from the body so the skin can stay dry.
The main reason why people will hide your handmade gift out of sight is when the long fibres will start turning into unsightly pills. Because our yarn has a very short fibres, the pills will be tiny, close to the surface and hardly noticeable.
Excessive shedding is not only annoying when the fibres end up all over your clothes but can also pose choking hazard for babies if they pull out too many fibres from the surface. Our yarn sheds very little in comparison to other types of yarn.
Busy parent of young kids don't have the time to hand wash gifts you made them so they probably end up sitting at the bottom of the washing basket most of the time. Our yarn is machine washable so you don't need to worry about that.
