Blossom Blanket Crochet Pattern

Designed by Aneta Wawro (Crochet Arcade) for Dreamy Wool

Wrap your little one in softness and style with this beautiful striped baby blanket, thoughtfully designed for the modern nursery.

Made using our Dreamy Wool Cuddle Soft Chunky yarn — a gentle, breathable blend of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic — it’s perfect for delicate baby skin while offering the durability busy parents need.

The blanket is worked in soothing blocks of colour using the Grit stitch, a wonderfully textured yet simple technique that mimics the look of traditional double crochet but with a more structured, refined finish.

Whether you’re crafting a cherished gift or decorating your baby’s room, this blanket adds a timeless touch of handmade charm.

Border (Optional)

The blanket will also look great with a white border. You can do 4 rows of double crochet (UK) / single crochet (US) to match the thickness of the white stripes.

To work the border, make a stitch into each stitch and side of each row, making 2 or 3 stitches in each corner to keep it flat.
